Records in Log Book before arrival (within 24 hrs) to Load Port:

TIME. Equipment and systems described in CL SMS KC – 20 – A 01 & SMS KC – 20 – A 02 have been tested/ inspected before loading, including:

SAAB Hi-Level Alarm and Tanks Overfill Alarms tested. IGS Alarms and trips tested. SAAB System and cargo computer in good working order. VEC system, HV P/V valves, P/V breaker, deck seal checked, Mast riser drained, flame arresters cleaned. Correct setting of valves on deck / cargo system – checked.Cargo and Ballast valves were checked by OPEN-CLOSE method. Sea chest valves of EXXON FITTINGS tested by pressure 3.5 kgs/cm2. O2 and pressure indicators in CCR and ECR calibrated and compared. IG pressure indicators in CCR, ECR and on Bridge were compared. Pump Room Bilge and Gas Detection System alarms tested. Portable gas detection and cargo measurement equipment checked, no any deficiencies found.O2 content in COTs checked and found less than 5%. H2S content in COTs checked and found xxxppm.Water ballast tanks were checked for oil contamination-No remarks. Fire-main line-checked.

SMS Check KC – 20 – A 01 completed.

TIME. Equipment and systems described in CL SMS KC – 20 – A 01 & SMS KC – 20 – A 02 have been tested/ inspected before loading, including:

COW Pump’s emergency trip and alarms tested. Lines and valves of COW System tested by pressure 10 kgs/cm2. Safety Meeting for crew nominated for COW operations carried out. COW pre-arrival check list completed. ( IF COW OPERATIONS EXPECTED)
